In October 2024, we focused on several impactful initiatives aimed at addressing urgent needs and promoting sustainable health solutions in vulnerable regions.
Responding to Floods in Northern Thailand
The devastating floods in Northern Thailand left many communities struggling to access basic healthcare services. In partnership with the Chiang Mai University Development Foundation, Buymed Siam provided essential medical supplies to flood-affected areas. These contributions aimed to alleviate immediate healthcare needs and support recovery efforts for families displaced by the disaster.
Caring for the Elderly in Kanchanaburi
In collaboration with the Thai Pharmacy Association, we extended support to elderly care centers under The Luang Por Lam-Yai Foundation in Kanchanaburi. These centers play a vital role in providing care and dignity to seniors in the region. By supplying medical products and resources, we helped ensure the elderly receive the attention and treatment they deserve, empowering caregivers to continue their invaluable work.
Promoting Student Health in Prae
Recognizing that good health is essential for effective learning, we contributed medical products to Ban Mae Rang School in Prae. This initiative aimed to promote the well-being of students, ensuring they have the resources to thrive academically and personally. Healthy students are better equipped to build brighter futures, and we are proud to support this foundation of growth.
Empowering Alternative Education in Kanchanaburi
Education should be a joyful and liberating experience, and Children Village School (Mu Ban Dek) in Kanchanaburi exemplifies this philosophy. This alternative school fosters freedom and happiness in learning, creating an environment where children can flourish. To support their mission, we provided medical products and devices, ensuring that the health needs of students and staff are met, allowing them to focus on education and personal development.
