Circa and Pharma Vita officially signed an investment agreement, marking an important milestone in expanding modern pharmacy franchise operations in Vietnam’s major cities.
On April 28, 2025, Circa – a retail pharmacy chain powered by Buymed – and Pharma Vita officially entered a strategic partnership to launch 20 franchised pharmacies under the innovative FOCO (Franchise Own, Company Operate) model. The partnership is a key step towards building a nationwide, standardized pharmacy network, combining investment capital with operational excellence.
As Vietnam’s healthcare sector modernizes rapidly, this collaboration brings together Circa’s expertise in standardized retail operations and Pharma Vita’s strategic investment capability. By joining forces, both companies aim to drive growth, efficiency, and service quality across the pharmacy retail landscape, starting with Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi — two of Vietnam’s most dynamic healthcare markets.
Circa’s competitive edge lies in its deep integration with Buymed’s healthcare ecosystem, leveraging technology-driven operations, robust supply chain infrastructure, pharmacist training programs, and a strong customer experience focus. Through the FOCO model, Pharma Vita will invest in store ownership while Circa fully manages day-to-day operations, ensuring consistency in service and branding.
According to the agreement, the two companies are committed to launching 20 franchise pharmacies within 12 months, with a goal for at least two-thirds of the stores to achieve break-even performance within the first year. Circa will provide end-to-end operational support, including site selection, store design, staff recruitment and training, marketing, and quality management.
The partnership also reflects a shared vision for scalable and sustainable healthcare development. By combining resources, expertise, and execution power, Circa and Pharma Vita are positioning themselves to meet growing healthcare needs with modern, accessible, and high-quality pharmacy services.
