BuyMed Clarifies Information on “Revocation of BuyMed Logistics’ Pharmaceutical Business Certificate”

In the past week, we have noted media reports concerning the Ministry of Health’s revocation of the Certificate of Eligibility for Pharmaceutical Business for Buymed Logistics Co., Ltd. (“the Company”), located at 25-27 Truong Dinh Street, Truong Dinh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi.

To clarify and provide accurate information, thereby preventing any misunderstandings among Buymed’s customers and partners, Buymed would like to present the following specifics:

1. Regarding the Relocation of Business Premises

In response to the growing need for warehouse expansion to 5,000 m², Buymed Logistics Co., Ltd. has officially relocated its business operations from 25-27 Truong Dinh Street, Truong Dinh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi, to Lot CN20-1A, VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park, Dai Dong Commune, Tien Du District, Bac Ninh Province.

2. No Violations Reported

The revocation of this license is not due to any reasons related to violations of pharmaceutical business practices. Following the completion of the procedures to return the Certificate of Eligibility for Pharmaceutical Business from the Company’s Hanoi Branch, Buymed is currently operating its Bac Ninh Branch at Lot CN20-1A, VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park, Dai Dong Commune, Tien Du District, Bac Ninh Province.

Upon completion of the necessary procedures, we received an official decision from the Ministry of Health regarding the revocation, which has been publicly announced on official electronic platforms in compliance with current legal regulations. Relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals can refer to this link for a publicly accessible and transparent copy available on the Department of Pharmacy’s website, containing comprehensive details.

In accordance with the provisions of the 2016 Pharmacy Law and related decrees, the Company submitted Official Letter No. 18/BML-HN/CV/2024 dated June 3, 2024, to the Ministry of Health to formally notify the cessation of business activities at 25-27 Truong Dinh Street, Truong Dinh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi. This procedure is mandatory for companies operating in the pharmaceutical sector, and the Company has fully complied with all legal requirements.

3. Firmly Requesting the Refrain from Misinformation:

The comprehensive process of revocation (essentially the completion of the procedure for the return of) the Certificate of Eligibility for Pharmaceutical Business at the Company’s Hanoi Branch, located at 25-27 Truong Dinh Street, Truong Dinh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi, underscores our unwavering commitment to legal compliance and marks a significant milestone in our strategic initiative to expand, standardize operations, and elevate service quality for our valued clients. Nevertheless, any dissemination of incomplete information may lead to misunderstandings and jeopardize our esteemed reputation.

Therefore, through this announcement, Buymed respectfully requests that media outlets and relevant individuals refrain from disseminating incomplete information that may adversely affect the Company’s reputation. Should any individuals or media organizations continue to publish misleading information that damages the Company’s image, we will seek legal intervention to protect our legitimate rights and interests.
