Buymed Donates Over 500 “Compassionate Medicine Bags” to the Central Region Pharmacy Community
In recent days, the “Compassionate Medicine Bags” project by thuocsi.vn has distributed over 500 gift bags containing essential pharmaceuticals to the pharmacy community in Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam.
The recent floods in Central Vietnam have had a severe impact on the livelihoods and economies of local residents, particularly affecting pharmacies and drugstores in the region. It is estimated that thousands of homes have been inundated and damaged, with tens of thousands of people forced to evacuate for their safety.
“COMPASSIONATE MEDICINE BAGS” – SUPPORTING THE PHARMACY COMMUNITY TO OVERCOME CHALLENGES
Recognizing these challenges, BuyMed Co., Ltd. (the entity behind thuocsi.vn, an application and website platform for ordering pharmaceuticals for pharmacies and clinics) has swiftly collaborated with strategic partners such as Danson Group, Pharmedic, Bidiphar, Thai Nakorn, Hoang Vu Pharmaceuticals, Phuc Vinh Pharmaceuticals, and Usarichpharm to provide over 500 “Compassionate Medicine Bags” to the pharmacies and drugstores that have been most severely affected.
“Through various media channels, BuyMed | thuocsi.vn continuously updates information on the flooding situation in Central Vietnam and the damages endured by the local community.
We hope that these gift bags will help alleviate the burdens and support pharmacies and drugstores in Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam in overcoming the impacts of the disaster and rebuilding their lives,” shared Mr. Pham Nguyen Toan, Brand Marketing Manager of BuyMed Co., Ltd.
FOSTERING THE SPIRIT OF UNITY AMONG THE THUOCSI.VN PHARMACY COMMUNITY
As an e-commerce platform dedicated to pharmaceuticals for pharmacies and clinics, thuocsi.vn takes pride in contributing to the significant recovery efforts for the people of Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam, as well as the broader Central Vietnam community affected by natural disasters.
Previously, BuyMed has undertaken numerous initiatives to support the community, notably the “Vitamin Station” program, which provided free vitamins to over 2,000 blood donors at seven locations in Ho Chi Minh City. During this program, volunteers who donated blood received complimentary Vitamin C, B-complex vitamins (B1, B6, B12), and bottled water as a token of appreciation for their participation in this humanitarian effort.
In addition to our online customer engagement, BuyMed continues to maintain and expand our sales team in various regions to ensure timely support for our customers. Currently, BuyMed is nurturing ambitious plans to significantly advance the pharmaceutical distribution market in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, aiming to help the community access quality medications at affordable prices.
