Buymed expanding Horizons in Healthcare Collaboration in Cambodia
At Buymed, our mission is to build a more accessible and inclusive healthcare system, not only in Vietnam but across Southeast Asia. In November 2024, Buymed Cambodia took a significant step in this journey by visiting Khunthabupha Hospital. This visit marked an important milestone in our efforts to strengthen partnerships in the Cambodian healthcare sector and drive impactful change.
Introducing NICU Specialist Diapers for Neonatal Care
In collaboration with Unicharm Cambodia, we proudly introduced NICU specialist diapers for premature infants. As part of Unicharm’s Japan program, this innovative product is the first of its kind in Cambodia, designed specifically for the delicate needs of neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).
This initiative aligns with Buymed’s overarching vision to improve public health, with a particular focus on maternal and neonatal care. By addressing a critical gap in healthcare products, we aim to support hospitals and caregivers in providing better care for some of the most vulnerable patients—newborns in need of intensive medical attention.
Fostering Collaboration Across Sectors
Our partnership with Unicharm Cambodia reflects Buymed’s commitment to fostering impactful relationships across the healthcare ecosystem. From government channels to non-profit organizations and the public health sector, Buymed strives to create synergies that enable long-term improvements in healthcare accessibility and quality.
During our visit, we engaged directly with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and challenges. By observing service-level feedback from provinces like Siem Reap, we’re ensuring that our strategies are responsive and relevant to the unique demands of Cambodia’s healthcare landscape.

This initiative not only helps raise awareness of Buymed’s mission and Unicharm’s products but also paves the way for deeper collaborations with existing and new partners.
